Marketing Intelligence Analyst

One of The Sage Group’s clients is looking for a Marketing Intelligence Analyst to lead marketing campaign segmentation strategy, strong with dashboarding and experienced with the marketing tech stack, ideally Eloqua and Salesforce. Client is on the forefront of technology innovation, delivering breakthroughs and trusted insights to the world’s visionaries and innovators in electronic design, test, manufacturing, and optimization. Creating world-class solutions in wireless communications, 5G, automotive, quantum, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor markets for customers in over 100 countries.

The team is hiring a Marketing Data Intelligence Analyst to enable our marketing teams to target the right audiences with the right content, including invitations to key events, tradeshows, and technical seminars. You will be working in the Marketing Infrastructure team within the client Global Marketing organization, responsible for maintaining and building out the requirements for the marketing technology stack along with the Eloqua database infrastructure and maintaining the email marketing and marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer data and drive to understand the right intent by accounts, provide guidance to campaigns on audience gaps the team needs to fill
  • Build, lead, and maintain the customer analytics practice, supporting the business with actionable insights by building and maintaining customer data models, testing, segmentation, and targeting methodologies
  • Analyze our customer data and drive to understand exact user requirements, build-out non-overlapping customer segments, and identify gaps that need to be filled
  • Champion and improve current processes and analyses to drive improved targeting and segmentation, along with data-driven product recommendations
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes
  • Partner with the IT and data architecture teams as a subject matter expert and ambassador in the customer data structure, tools, processes, key metrics, and analytic methodologies
  • Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement, diagnose and resolve issues

Musts:

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in a customer intelligence analyst role in B2B marketing, demonstrating technical and analytical skills to decipher insights and present them to business partners.
  • Proficient in working with large data sets and deep knowledge of marketing & email marketing metrics, KPIs, and concepts such as click rates, sender score, deliverability, and sender reputation
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation tools such as Eloqua, HubSpot, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud; strong business intelligence tools capability in Domo or Tableau a plus
  • Proven leadership and project management skills for executing processes, complex projects, and tactics
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency to meet deadlines
  • Extremely well-organized and analytical with the ability to work well under pressure; quick and curious learner
  • Excellent English speaking, writing, communication, and presentation skills

Location: 100% remote in USA
