The Maintenance Management Analyst (MMA) tracks, analyzes, and presents information to help leadership assess the health of the units’ weapon systems and equipment. MMA acts as the group POC for Mission Information System (MIS) issues and performs analyses to assess and improve unit performance (such as, effectiveness and efficiency of unit resources and logistical support processes). The MIS provides the main source of information used by analysts to assess unit performance and capability.

Coordinate with PS&D and unit’s Maintenance Supervision to provide monthly airframe, facility and personnel capabilities (as required), attrition, and spare factors for use in planning the annual Flying Hour Plan.

Health of the Fleet (HOF) will be conducted monthly and chaired by MMA. The monthly meeting will cover the previous month’s matrixes and will supplement this requirement to add any additional matrixes that need to be addressed in their HOF meeting. Will also supplement this requirement to determine required meeting attendees.


Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

The strongest candidate will have documented Air Force experience successfully operating within this role.

Additionally desirable is a detailed knowledge of Air Force Instruction 21-101 requirements related to the performance of this job

Have an active DOD or Federal Secret security clearance (Preferred).

Operate independently and make decisions according to standard policies, procedures and within security parameters

A knowledge of hangar/flight line operations and safety is desired


The following skills and abilities are required:

Must be able to obtain and maintain in force a valid driver’s license.

Must be a citizen of the United States of America.

Obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance

Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to generate, compile, analyze and evaluate facts and data using statistical and research methodologies

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have ability to develop professional relationships with management, peers, maintainers, and customers.

Must be able to work weekends, other shifts, and overtime as required.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company proprietary data.

Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.

  • 2 year(s): Air Force Maintenance Management Experience


Education

Required

  • High School or better in General Studies or related field
