Location/Division-Specific Information

We are seeking a JD Edwards E1 System Analyst with proven technical hands-on experience to join and help innovate our E1 ERP. You will serve as a key functional resource for the company’s global E1 instance for the finance function.


How will you make an impact?

You will be accountable for ERP projects, improvement, assessments, and execution matters including service delivery (break/fix). In addition, you will guide and work closely with other groups that support the assessment and delivery of ERP enhancements, projects, and support.


What will you do?

  • Be the key resource in the delivery of cost, determination of scope, and effort estimation for projects and enhancements using your own knowledge and liaising with other partners for this purpose
  • Collaborate with team members, functional leads, and offshore and external vendors, to ensure that projects and enhancements are delivered, using the global resource pool, in an efficient manner without negatively impacting quality
  • Partner with team members in the assessment/blueprinting of enhancements/projects & ensuring solutions meet or exceed business value propositions as well as meet architectural policies
  • Effective and efficient delivery of all functional ERP project execution activities to ensure that they are delivered in a consistent, harmonized, and efficient manner within the guidelines of the project management framework (PMF)
  • Management and accountability for the achievement of all metrics (SLAs)
  • Quality & cost delivery of all functional aspects of enhancements and projects
  • Effectively maintain the relationship with internal business partners and external vendor teams to deliver business needs
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver a seamless global project execution model
  • Gather and optimally use data to deliver continuous improvement
  • Actively participate in the project and enhancement reviews
  • Able to articulate solution options and use ERP configuration creatively versus developing enhancements
  • Prepare functional specifications for conversions and enhancements
  • Coordinate with the development team and supervise the progress of developing activities and updating the status of team members
  • Provide and support user training where appropriate
  • Help in the management of Root Cause Analysis for service delivery issues
  • Actively participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) calls and Post-Mortem Reviews


How will you get here?


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Management Information Systems


Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in E1 Finance ERP in a sophisticated environment
  • Oracle E1 ERP GL, Fixed Assets, Projects, AP experience is required
  • Solid experience with Agile / Scrum development
  • Ability to work as part of a large multi-functional, geographically distributed team as well as function independently
  • Experience using project management software tools, such as MS Project, Jira, etc. to effectively lead, manage, monitor, and control project activities.
  • Experience working with E1 integration with 3rd party application

  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak to technical-level staff and develop written reporting and presentations to team members
  • Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
  • Demonstrable ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment
  • Confirmed ability to navigate the technology environment and work optimally with multiple groups around the globe
