As a senior Data Scientist, you will be part of a team dedicated to growing business efficiency of a Fortune 200 Company. This position provides an exciting way for an expert Data Scientist to employ a cross section of machine learning and analytic processes to develop algorithms that will improve efficiency and drive revenue using Power BI.

You will quickly grasp complex business priorities to translate them into algorithms and communicate the results to customers with varying degree of technical background.

You should be a hands-on programmer who will use strong data mining and modeling skills to integrate multiple complex data sources, such as marketing, finance and supply chain etc. and translate them into easily consumable visualizations and support data science initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops strategies and capture requirements to leverage machine learning and RPA to enhance business processes.
• Use scripting languages like python to build automation processes for data integration(Databricks) with visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau)
• Collaborate with customers to identify and document key business needs and areas of opportunities and translate business questions into quantitative analyses via machine learning and data modeling
• Develop visualization and key performance indexes to track efficiency of decisions (machine learning outputs).
• Optimally respond to requests for ad hoc analyses
• Build real time dashboards and reports to track data science driven performance, and report-out to leadership
• Optimize the ML data models continuously based on feedback from customers

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum 5 years of meaningful experience in data science, analytics, statistics, applied math or related or master’s degree plus 3+ years of meaningful experience in data science, analytics, statistics, applied math or related
• 3+ years’ practical experience in data mining and statistical modeling
• Proven experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems
• Experience utilizing visualization tools to take advantage of showing available information, e.g. Power BI
• Team collaboration and cross-functional partnerships
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Python, fluency in R helpful. Exposure to SQL and other languages is encouraged
• Experience in SQL Server, Oracle, data lake, AWS/Cloud Computing, Databricks
