Job Detail:
THOR Solutions is actively seeking an entry-level Business Analyst to provide project planning, analysis, and administrative support to NIWC Pacific Codes 81000 & 84000 in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience obtained in a U.S. Navy/DoD environment, with demonstrable skills in any of the following: Tableau, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Atlassian JIRA, and/or Java.
The candidate’s responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing or supporting the following actions:
- Corporate strategy management, analysis, and administration
- Strategic intelligence analysis and administrative support
- Data management, visualization, and analysis
- Process management and analysis
- Website (Hub, Wikis) content management
- JIRA project administration & workflow development
- Analysis of Alternatives, budgetary assessment, cost-benefit analysis
Security Clearance Requirements
- Must already possess an active or interim SECRET security clearance, and maintain it for the duration of employment.
Required Education, Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, management, or science (e.g., industrial engineering, operations research, systems analysis) from an accredited college or university.
- Will accept DAWIA BUS-FM/CE or PM accreditation in lieu of a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- At least two (2) years of recent, relevant professional experience supporting corporate operation functions, including at least one (1) year of experience in data management, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Experience obtained in a U.S. Navy/DoD environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency/experience with Tableau and/or SharePoint.
- Proficiency/experience with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
- An ideal candidate will also possess proficiency/experience with Java and/or Atlassian Jira.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Target Pay Scale
- $21.35 – $24.04/hour
