Role Summary:

Primary responsibility would be Intercompany accounting & reporting, preparation of account reconciliations, construction of financial statements and preparation of audit report footnotes. Support Onshore planning & analysis team with preparation of variance analysis, budget trackers and automation of MIS reports.

ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Posting of Intercompany transactions in Oracle in compliance with accounting policies with accuracy and on timely basis.
  • Preparation of intercompany reconciliations and analyzing them independently, resolving queries with the counterparts in case of any differences.
  • Support the monthly closing process, build and maintain procedures related to the activities undertaken.
  • Assist in creating efficiencies and improving the value of our work by streamlining and automating our current reporting processes.
  • Stakeholder management: Involves working with various onshore financial stakeholders, constantly interacting with onshore partners for their feedback and support them wherever required.
  • A team player with the ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task, lead through ambiguities, influence where he/she does not have direct authority & build on unstructured formative situations.

SKILLS

  • Any Degree in Finance with at least 1-3 years relevant experience in accounting, preparation of financial statements using Hyperion and knowledge of USGAAP and have worked in Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis, Variance Analysis.
  • Should have good knowledge in Oracle, Hyperion and excellent Excel skills (especially VBA).
  • Agile and flexible to changing needs and adhoc requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)
