The Payments team of the US Tech Service department of TikTok provides payment solutions — including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on — to ensure that users have a smooth and secure payment experience on TikTok platform.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex data sets to detect potential payments fraud and deliver actionable insights
- Contribute to the design of the fraud risk rules in line with the defined roadmap and risk appetite
- Keep current on various fraud trends that might affect the payment industry
- Continuously evolve the fraud strategies and models to improve the key risk metrics
- Support the payment risk control team in various initiatives and ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, familiarity with payments and fraud is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, familiarity with payments and fraud is a plus
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical analysis tools such as SQL
- Results-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and ownership
- Confident communicator with the ability to interact at all levels, including working closely with cross functional teams
- Aptitude to identify new ways to approach risk management and to think creatively
