Campaign Data Analyst
*This position requires you to be located in the Charlotte area*
Townsquare is looking for a Sales Data Analyst. This role acts as reporting specialist and subject matter expert connecting our sources of data to stakeholders (Digital Account Managers, Sales, Leadership, etc.). This is a collaborative role that provides multiple departments with data and client reporting for our local markets. This position reports to the Data and Analytics Manager and is ultimately responsible for the support, maintenance and implementation of our data platform. In addition, this role supports the business with ad hoc reporting and various data solutions. Success in this role comes in the form of accurate data, concise reporting and reduced campaign cancellations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze and QA reports for stake holders
- Generate campaign insight reports and assist in creating customized reports
- Collaborate with Digital Campaign Managers, Media Buyers, Search and Social Analysts
- Platform support and maintenance to ensure accurate data and workflows
- Troubleshoot technical and performance issues
- Possess strong communication and analytical skills
- Also responsible for other duties as assigned, such as pulling ad hoc reports or support on special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Finance, or Economics preferred or 3+ years of work-related experience in in these areas
- At least 1-year experience in the digital media industry
- Experience working with digital marketing reporting and analytics platforms
- Solid understanding of the digital advertising industry
- Must be proficient, intermediate level, with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in both a team environment and independently
- Experience with various demand side platforms and digital ad networks preferred, but not required (Google Ads, Facebook, Xander, etc.)
- Basic understanding of SQL (preferred)
