Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s ITx (IT Experiences) organization is currently seeking a passionate and highly motivated Senior Analyst, Technical Product Owner within the Digital Retail Operations function.
This individual will act as a key member of Agile Teams, and is responsible for defining user stories, requirements, and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team.
This team member will also provide frequent clear communication to their manager and peers.
What you’ll be doing
- Understand key business objectives of the products; work with business partners to ensure they are engaged and supportive of direction and accountability
- Responsible for final decisions on product functionality
- Maintain and refine product backlog (Create user stories and acceptance criteria; Assess business value and prioritize all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that align with strategy)
- Ensure stories clearly communicate customer/customer needs to the Scrum team; work with team and customers to clarify stories as necessary to build requirements
- Understand and support inter-team dependencies, collaborate, and escalate issues when necessary
- With Scrum team, set and communicate release date and scope, attend team events (e.g. daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to management
What you bring
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with dealer franchise operational model and scheduling
- Experience using Jira or equivalent tools
- Experience and understanding of dealer software technologies
- Experience working with and influencing a course of action with distributed, local, and hybrid project teams
- Familiarity with software development trends and lifecycles
What you may bring
- Scrum/Agile and DevOps experience
- Knowledge of fixed and variable dealer operations
- Supervisory experience over multiple simultaneous projects
- Demonstrated functional work experience in dealership fixed operations
- Project certifications (i.e. Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc.)

This position is based in Plano, TX. Toyota encourages all employees to live within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned work location.
