The Manager of Omni Channel Business Analytics is responsible for leading a team of data analysts who provide business & web analytic reporting, operational decision support, and business insights to drive continued growth at Tractor Supply.
The Omni Channel Analytics team strives to enable business growth through self-service analytics, comprehensive business performance reporting, A/B and web metric analysis, performance measurements of new and enhanced program releases, and operational analysis.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Business Growth
- Provide thought leadership leveraging analytics to improve on everyday operations and future business growth.
- Have a thorough understanding of the business strategy and ensure analytics are aligned.
- Active team member in key enterprise level projects providing analysis, guidance, and recommendations to project leads and executive sponsors.
- Collaborates with all levels of management to help improve business analytics within the organization, while raising awareness levels and probing for greater efficiencies and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, methodologies, and reports.
- Manage offshore resources, consultants, and other vendor management responsibilities.
Center of Excellence
- Continue to evolve the centralized reporting & analytics excellence within Omni-channel space.
- Implement best practices & tools to increase speed and depth of insights.
- Ensure delivery and accuracy of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly Omni-channel metrics and reporting, including financial, operational, project and web analytics reporting.
- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
- Develop repeatable analyses to identify opportunities/issues for improving business operations and efficiency.
Analytics
- Work within the analytics team and cross-functionally to identify and produce self-service & automated reports and dashboards to empower decision-making across business levels
- Provide superior quantitative and qualitative problem-solving & analytical recommendations based on data while handling multiple high-profile projects concurrently.
- Responsible for presenting analysis and resulting recommendations to peers and senior management in a clear, polished, and articulate manner.
- Lead ongoing ad hoc analysis of all business functions, including financial, web, and operational activities.
- Prioritize and manage execution of requests for report enhancements and analysis from business partners.
- Supports development of business cases for new enhancements and tracks KPIs in focus areas.
Team Development
- Develop team members to enable growth within the organization.
- Support total team growth in skill set and capability.
Qualifications:
- Experience : 6 years’ experience in reporting & analytics space, with 2 years managing teams.
- Experience with Business Objects, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake Quantum Metrics, and other analytic tools.
- Strong presentation skills and experience with presentation tools such as PowerPoint.
- Experience measuring A/B testing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques.
- Background in eCommerce.
- Understanding of and familiarity with web and emerging technologies
- Flexible and responsive; able to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and meet aggressive deadlines
