Job Description
As a Business Operations Analyst for Travel + Leisure Co., this person will be responsible for leveraging data, building forecasts and creating innovative solutions that impact the overall business while supporting the high demands of business partners. This team creates and distributes data surrounding trends, market conditions and any external influences for assigned geographic region(s). This individual will also participate in large scale projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize data between multiple systems and reports into a digestible format
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with field and corporate business partners on a daily basis
- Track performance to identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and execute change
- Assist with forecasting to meet monthly targeted goals

- Sales and Marketing teams
- Corporate Business Partners
Examples Of Projects This Role Will Engage With
- Designing and adjusting strategies to fill our resorts to drive profitability
- Support the opening of new resorts
- Quantify business impacts for unforeseen barriers
- Implement system enhancements related to new business needs/activities
- Understand varied business models
Minimum Requirements And Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Technical Skills
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, vlookup, basic formulas)
- Experience with Business Intelligence applications (i.e., PowerBI), preferred
- Experience in data querying and analytical software, a plus
Knowledge And Skills
- Experience in compiling and aggregating data across business information systems to provide strategic and actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills. Solid oral, written, and presentation as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities in an efficient/timely manner.
- Learning and understanding various inventory types/products sold and inventory use rights applicable to assigned resorts.
- Timely documentation of operational processes applicable to assigned resorts.
- Collaboration with peers to develop training materials and sharing best practices
Job Experience
- 1+ years of demonstrated forecasting or revenue management experience in a multi-property environment; Hospitality experience preferred
