Job Location: Mumbai
Supporting the Product Owner in setting, prioritising, and evaluating the development backlog to ensure features and functionality are delivered to the highest standard. You will be helping to maintain the product roadmap while delivering the best in class customer experience and maximising ROI. This includes working on small- and large-scale products where you will be identifying opportunities for improvement while working with stakeholders across the wider business, CR, and IT to help deliver products to the live environment
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Support the product owner in the assigned product area by confidently being active in all sprint ceremonies
Work with key stakeholders to elicit business requirements and provide analysis to be able to create stories for the engineering team
Support the planning of projects and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
Working with the scrum team to deliver the sprint goals and project objectives
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration and documentation of the user stories and requirements
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Work closely with the central compliance, fraud, data protection and InfoSec teams to ensure we adhere to compliance risk requirements
Maintain the centralised documentation repository and support the product owner to
create product specifications, release notes and progress reports
Skills, know-how and experience: Must have:
Experience analysing business requirements and creating epics/user stories Experience of working in agile development operating models Provide leadership and motivation to the delivery teams by driving engagement Effective stakeholder management and communication skills Able to work with business IT teams with minimum supervision
Understanding of the software delivery cycle from inception to delivery and support Able to remain calm under pressure and operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Preferred: Understanding of SQL Server Knowledge of the financial industry including compliance and risk Understanding and working knowledge of SAFe Experience of working within a product team
Technical / professional qualifications and experience:
Excellent knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office, Jira and Confluence. Relevant courses or experience relating to Product Owner/Manager, Business Analyst and Agile
