Trillion Technology Solutions is hiring a Mid-level Data Analyst/Scientist to join our team!
Location: Camp Pendleton – San Diego, CA
Requirements:
- DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, business analytics, accounting, finance, statistics or in a quantitative field
- 3-7+ years of experience analyzing data and identifying trends and patterns
- 3-7+ years of experience interpreting data with the help of predefined processes and statistical tools like Statistical Analysis Software, MATLAB, and Microsoft Excel.
- Must be able to work independently with little guidance and supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience and a strong background in statistical methods
- SQL experience
- Cloudera CCA Data Analyst—Certificate
- SAS, R, and Python as Plus and also Tableau, Quicksite, or POWERBI is also plus, and some cloud databases experience (these are plus)
- Data Scientist Associate v2 (DECA-DS) Certification
Job Duties:
- Perform data analysis and management
- Conduct basic statistical analysis of data
- Conduct trend analysis of data
- Conduct a continuous review of reports and identify opportunities for improvement to minimize redundant reporting and automate data preparation and report creation
- Create technical documentation
- Work with the technical staff to develop and maintain dashboards to visualize data using Tableau or Power BI tools
- Compile data to provide analysis and problem-solving for complex issues, manipulating large data sets through object-oriented programming
