This role will support the design, development, testing and production of data management dashboards and related metrics covering data governance, data policy adherence, data quality management, data retention, and data issues management. This includes defining and maintaining the overall data management reporting framework, related processes, key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs), in support of measuring data risk across Truist to ensure data-driven prioritization and decision making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Applies subject-matter or functional expertise and industry knowledge to research, analyze, design, and/or maintain data sources in information systems to support projects, information needs, and changing reporting requirements.
2. Develops business requirements for new reporting capabilities and dashboards.
3. Drives monthly dashboard production processes with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
4. Tracks progress against producing existing metrics and developing new reports, and escalates issues in a timely manner for resolution.
5. Executes data and report validations to support ongoing quality assurance and peer review processes.
6. Accountable for on-time and accurate delivery of data management dashboards and metrics in collaboration with business and technology partners.
7. Performs analysis, validation and interpretation of reporting outputs. Recommends business actions to business leaders based on interpreted findings of the analyzed business reports.
8. Recommends and develops solutions for resolving data integrity issues with source data and related dashboard metrics.
9. Supports design of new metrics and scorecards, including through data visualization and compelling “story-telling” through data.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree and seven to ten years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.).
3. Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines. Experience managing small projects.
4. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree or MBA and ten years of related experience
2. Banking or financial services experience
3. In-depth knowledge of business intelligence, reporting, data management, dashboarding and data engineering.
4. Knowledge of data tools and platforms used for managing, storing, querying, testing, loading and transforming data (e.g. SAS, Informatica, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server) and/or relevant data certifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPM)
5. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc.
6 Knowledge or experience with data governance, data management, data quality, data retention, and/or data risk management considered a plus
7. History of effective performance within shared service, matrix or federated environments
8. Internal or external consulting experience
