Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform investment performance calculations and analysis on security investments
- Understand and analyze all asset classes in clients’ portfolios such as equities, fixed income, real assets, hedge funds and private equity
- Research and resolves quality checks for trust portfolios
- Collect, analyze, and report investment performance used in client and management reports
- Effectively communicate and respond to internal and external client requests for issue resolution in a timely manner
- Assist in training and answering system-related questions for users on the performance system
- Participate in team and business line projects upon request
- Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and documented
- Recommend and implement process changes as needed to increase timely and accurate delivery of performance data
- Maintain awareness of pertinent legal and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Three to four years of experience in financial accounting activities
- CPA or CMA preferred
- A least three years of investment experience
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulations
- Advanced knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Understanding of securities, asset classes, and benchmarks
- Ability to multitask and be receptive to change
- Self-starter with motivation to develop new ideas to enhance current process
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data
