What You’ll Do:
Manages customer portfolio progress to achieve the desired results of profit maximization through closely monitoring contractual business. Maintains each customer portfolio supported according to the plan laid out for that opportunity.
- Analyze financial data, utilizing Power BI and other reporting tools, to find trends & patterns to determine where new strategies should be implemented to reduce risk and maximize profitability.
- Develop proposals, bids, RFP responses or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients.
- Make recommendations for customer specific RFP response strategies based on knowledge of market dynamics and enterprise/regional/local strategy.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal contributors and subject matter experts:
- Ensure bid response is complete, accurate and maximizes business opportunities
- Drive and strategically orchestrate bid intake and response processes
- Align business and customer road maps with optimization of our network and resources
- Monitor and create visibility to business performance deviations to current plan
- Lead action plans to course correct portfolio performance
- Effectively communicate all awarded bids to stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, including competitors’ prices, marketing strategies, profitability and operational cost.
- Work with the Collections and Problem Resolution departments to identify and correct any rating/pricing errors to ensure future invoices are processed accurately.
- Provide guidance on 30/60/90-day follow-up for customers ensuring that revenue, load count, margin and productivity expectations are being achieved. If objectives are not being met, instigate corrective actions and measure results.
What We’re Looking For:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years in pricing, revenue management or another related field required
- Experience in the transportation industry a plus
Skills/Certifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerBi, Tableau or other Business Intelligence Software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate in a team environment
