Your role
Are you a Service person with a particular flair for Reference Data? Do you want to enable investments in sustainable projects and companies and do you know what gets consumers and clients of ESG data excited?
As an ESG Data Analyst you will work with the ESG Data Specialist and ESG Service Manager to establish and evolve the ESG Reference Data Services in line with the requirements of our internal stakeholders. The services will be set up completely from scratch over the next months and will be provided by leveraging our strategic and future-ready global reference data management platform.
As a Data Steward for ESG, you will be a key contact and you will not only support daily operations related to maintaining, supporting, managing and enhancing ESG data for various stakeholders, but also work on projects to continuously evolve and improve the services.
Were looking for someone to:
• Run daily and periodic BAU processes and controls for ESG data service
• Serve as point of contact for ESG data related processes and issues
• Liaise and follow-up with market data vendors on identified data quality issues
• Create daily and periodic metrics as outlined by ESG service manager
• Ensure adherence to relevant data governance standards
• Where relevant conduct detailed research for specific data attributes
• Participate in change management and testing
Your team
Reference Data Operations is providing critical Reference Data services for different Business Divisions across the globe and enables UBS Finance and Risk to provide correct reporting to relevant Regulators.
You will be joining a highly motivated team to establish a brand-new service based on our strategic Reference Data Management Platform Cumulus. You will be working in India together with the India Head of Reference Data Operations and working alongside a global team based in other geographies
Your expertise
– You have a good understanding of reference data and operational usage of data
– Good understanding of ESG Data landscape and vendors who deal with ESG data
– Experience in data acquisition and data quality management, ideally in ESG data, along with good experience in Instrument and/or Legal Entity Data
– You are client-focused with strong communication skills and experience in chairing discussion forums with senior stakeholders
– You have experience in managing data services and risk including solving complex issues by leveraging global teams
– You are a good coordinator who can efficiently handle multiple different activities in parallel
– You are adept at problem management including problem triage, critical thinking, root cause analysis, managing escalations, communication & stakeholder management
– You have experience in project management, preferably in an agile team set-up
– You have an innovative mindset and an understanding of process automation
– You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in Service Delivery Management with a direct exposure to data consumers
– Skills such as knowledge of Alteryx, PowerBI and other IT knowledge are also welcome
