Your role
Do you want to play a vital part in the design of our current and future banking technology? Do you have proven ability to design, support and Integrate complex platforms and applications?
We are looking for an DevOps engineer Group Compliance & Regulatory Governance (GCRG) IT team to:
- design IaC aligned to business and IT requirements, transferring business problems into technical solutions on Azure
- work with other technical teams to harmonize requirements, ensuring the end solution is fit for purpose
- guide implementation teams to successful delivery of cloud infrastructure
- make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure on-prem and on cloud
- collaborate on problem analysis, proof-of-concepts, pilots, and quality and control
- partner with the various teams/functions to enable and drive deployment of the chosen solutions for the full life cycle
Your team
You’ll be working in the Financial Crime Prevention area as part of the Technology division in Zurich. We provide information needed for Financial Crime Prevention activities and Due Diligence information for our internal stakeholders. This benefits our internal stakeholders from the Financial Investigation Units. As a member of our team, you’ll play an important role in to further develop our mission.
You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside other talented engineers, CTO, and data scientists on cutting-edge big data, search, machine learning and analytics problems.
Your expertise
We recruit T-shaped and well-rounded professionals who are deep experts in their core technologies and are open to acquiring new skills. We expect high proficiency in the following area: IaC, Yaml, Powershell, scripting
Your core skills also include 3+ years of experience with:
- ideally worked as an IT/Infra architect or engineering background for several years
- proven delivery of Cloud based infrastructure solutions “Azure”
- successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
- thorough understanding of SOA Architecture
- bachelor’s, master’s degree or equivalent (technical school) in IT Related field or equivalent Hands on experience
- good knowledge of infrastructure related technologies, such as Server H/W, Networks, DBs, O/S and Cloud
- infra best security praxis
- knowledge in these areas would be beneficial: Terraform, Bash, Azure Devops, Git,
