Your role
Are you passionate about bringing systems to life? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in how to innovate? We’re looking for someone like that to help us:
- analyze functional requirements, design and implement solution based on SDLC.
- create technical design of application components using Informatica, IDQ Business Objects, Oracle & Postgres SQL
- code, test, and deploy application components with local and offshore developers within a Scrum team.
- responsible for delivering high quality code that meets our KPI
- work with test engineers to ensure minimum defects are introduced into QA
- ability to look beyond the status quo and identify areas of constant change/improvement.
Your team
You’ll be working in UBS Chief Digital and Information Office Asset Management in Pune. You will be accountable for the successful and timely delivery of projects primarily in Data Governance domain. It is a development role cum Tech lead that entails working within a scrum team located in US and India. You will work with other partner teams in multiple geographic locations around the world.
Your expertise
Your expertise :
- a four year bachelor’s degree or the international equivalent in Information Technology, math, engineering, physics or a related field
- ideally 10 – 15 years of hands on experience in develop, design, maintenance and integration of components in a large enterprise environment using Informatica, Oracle P/L SQL and Postgres SQL.
- ideally 10 – 15 years of hands on experience in develop, design, maintenance and integration of components in a large enterprise environment using Oracle P/L SQL and Postgres SQL.
- hands on experience on Data Governance Framework and DG tools like Collibra would be preferred.
- knowledge on Microsoft Azure would be considered as an advantage
- knowledge on Tableau would be considered as an advantage
- strong analytical, problem solving, debugging skills.
- good verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- demonstrable experience of being able to work to very tight timelines on multiple detailed activities simultaneously.
- experience working with agile methodology, especially scrum
