We are looking for Machine Learning Engineer:
- collaborate with data scientists and business leaders to understand challenges facing the firm and its clients.
- Design, develop, and operationalize machine learning applications at scale.
- transform data science prototypes and applying appropriate ML algorithms and tools.
- run machine learning tests and experiments, train and retrain systems as needed
- Design, and develop data processing capabilities to scale and deploy statistical and Machine Learning models that power analytics insight
- create documentations in support of application development and deployment
Your team
You will be part of the Integrated Data Strategy and Platform team within CDIO Group Function organization. Our Data strategy and platform are at the heart of UBS’s Group Function to digitize and support the business processes in these functions. The team is global based in Switzerland, UK, EMEA, APAC and the US.
Your expertise
You experience and skills:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related STEM fields
- 3+ years of relevant or equivalent experience, experience in finance industry is a plus
- familiar with applied data science methods, feature engineering, and machine learning algorithms.
- hands on experience of more than one programing languages(Python, Java, etc).
- experience in developing and operating ML applications.
- hands on experience of database and analytical technologies in the industry
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- great oral and written communication skills
- ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
desirable experience and skills:
- hands on experience with Spark, Databrick, and relevant Azure components
- hands-on experience in building and deploying production-level data pipelines using tools from Hadoop stack (HDFS, Hive, Spark etc)
- experience with data visualization tools
