About The Work From Home Job/internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Work with a strong understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts, such as probability, statistics, linear algebra, and optimization
- Work on identifying and implementing solutions to data-related problems
Skills & Requirements
- Strong understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts, such as probability, statistics, linear algebra, and optimization
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, as well as experience using popular data science libraries and frameworks such as sci-kit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and Pandas
- Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and visualization techniques, as well as the ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and implement solutions to data-related problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as the intern will likely be required to present their findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with cloud-based data science platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
- Knowledge of time series analysis, and natural language processing is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus
