Context & Main Purpose of Job

Provide a 360 degree view of the Ecommerce market for Arabia & channels we operate in, including competitive landscape, trends and opportunity areas. Tracking and monitoring category wise market share ( month on month) responsible for capturing key metrics including market size, identifying key competition & players, trend analysis and market prospects.

Lead eNRM (Dcommerce Net Revenue Management) Strategy: Spearhead this workstream across categories, recommend trending segments to invest (Naturals, Ingredients, etc.) consistently optimising our pack/price architecture capitalizing on demand space opportunities.

Sales Analytics anchor dCom analytics agenda for the BU. Insights may include – item level profitability, market basket analysis, sales velocity, inventory analytics, vendor management, evaluate implementation of promotional & merchandising activities, event performance, on platform presence & engagement wrt competition etc.

Monitoring Digital Presence : Have a complete view on Share of Shelf wrt to competition. Work with the DMCH teams to aggregate a holistic view on search, content, OLA and identifying areas of improvement.
Key Responsibilities / Focus Areas
The role will lead problem-solving efforts with your team and your cross-functional business partners.

Collecting, cleaning, querying, and analysing large amounts of customer data

Apply data mining, quantitative analysis, and statistics to understand customer shopping behaviour, diagnose sales trends, performance and growth opportunities.

Lead, define and implement approaches to optimize consumer discovery, selection & conversion, identifying points of friction in the consumer journey โ for optimisation

Leverage point-of-sale data (POS), category data (IRI) , shopper behaviour data, Market Baskets data to develop reliable, actionable insights

Evolve and manage the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive key business decisions and ensure that KPIs are being met.

Generate E2E view of dCom performance and take steps to optimize returns.

Embedding Tools, Voice of BU DMCH into the Data & Analytics team in the Corporate Centre to support the on-going optimisation of 1UL enterprise-wide capabilities.

Support organisational upskilling: drive best in class capabilities and build a datadriven org.

Proven commercial experience developing a wide range of Data Science/ML/predictive models
-
Proficient in advanced statistical analysis/modelling tools

Proficient in collecting, cleaning, querying, and analysing large amounts of customer data

Well-versed in an array of ML algorithms/techniques (i.e., decision tree etc.)
-
Strong dashboarding/reporting skills using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau etc.

Proven commercial experience designing & analysing statistical tests (i.e., A/B, hypothesis)

Strong verbal/written COMMs, negotiation, and presentation skills across the business

Experience in leveraging data & analytics to improve the customer experience and ensure KPIs are being met
