Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for consultation to the internal and/or external customer. Possess expertise in the customer area supported and has technical understanding of the business unit’s systems, capabilities, and respective technologies. Analyze customer processes and requirements. Assist in business process redesign as needed. Maintain communication with customer and team members and promote a team environment.

- Translates high level requirements into detailed level user stories to be consumed by the development pods in each sprint, while ensuring stories and features are added iteratively to the product to add overall value
- Manages a story backlog to ensure readiness of user stories for the upcoming sprint
- Facilitates agile rituals such as inception, iteration and story kickoff, estimation sessions, and help to keep team up-to-date with changes in priorities and to be available to answer questions quickly
- Analyzes data to ensure features are aligned with product goals/objectives and delivering the most business value
- Creates acceptance criteria that is clear, concise and actionable
- Works with User Experience (UX) analysts to ensure prototypes convey story intent
- Works with Dev and QA to understand the boundaries of any given story
- Contributes to overall definition of strategy and scope, including working with business stakeholders to understand ‘why’ we are working on something before development begins
- Identifies opportunities for improvement across product, process and team
- Analyzes efficiencies and effectiveness of current solutions using APIs and tools
- Document knowledge articles, Training programs, Software Design Documents and ICD
- Prepare specified project documentation according to UAL IDF standards
- Maintain communication with customer and team members and promote a team environment
- Works on moderate to complex projects
- Self-sufficient requiring moderate guidance
- Basic understanding of business principles (United systems)
- Identifies problems/issues and finds solutions
- Monitors compliance and adherence to principles
- Partners with business managers

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business or equivalent experience, education, or training
- 4 or more years IT and/or business experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management
- Works well in a collaborative setting, supporting work team by volunteering for and completing assignments, acting as a positive team member by contributing to discussions, developing and maintaining both formal and informal relationships enterprise-wide, defines success in terms of the entire team through mentoring and knowledge transfer
- Demonstrates a commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in current technical/functional area, keeping up to date on technical developments, staying informed as to industry practices, knowing how to apply relevant technical processes to appropriate business needs
- Expert in agile/scrum practices
- Knowledge and experience in developing APIs and tools (Postman, Swagger, SwaggerHub)
- Expertise in AzureDevOps, TFS, JIRA collaboration tools
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in Cargo, Freight and Logistics industry
- Familiarity of other technologies: AWS, JSON, Java
