Job Overview and Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Analyst is responsible for analyzing, pricing, negotiating and contracting charter flights across commercial and military segments to drive incremental profit. This position will interface with senior executives at professional sports teams, collegiate athletic programs, military officials, and high-profile charter clients as well as various other departments within United. This position will also provide support to the broader Charter team as needed through reporting, special projects or ad-hoc requests. Responsibilities include:
- Manage assigned customer portfolio of existing customers, develop pricing and fleet recommendations in response to external charter requests.
- Develop and provide recommendations of new business opportunities.
- Utilize knowledge of flight profitability metrics to conduct analyses of charter financial performance to optimize and refine pricing and fleet strategies. Review monthly charter profitability with United’s finance team.
- Collaborate with United’s Legal and Risk Management departments to negotiate and execute contracts with charter customers.
- Develop and maintain various forecasts and reports.
- Coordinate and interact regularly with Aircraft Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Charter Operations Planning, and other functions within Network Planning to ensure a seamless customer experience, optimal aircraft sourcing and integration with scheduled service.
Note: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement with days worked at our Chicago office and remote.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Network Planning, Pricing/Revenue Management, Operations, Finance, Sales, or relevant field
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Customer focused communication skills
