The Business Systems Analyst & Project Manager position is embedded in the claims department and liaisons with IT. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to understand and translate existing processes, gather requirements, lead projects, administer systems, develop user guides, conduct training, and support change management. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead administrator for claims department technology and systems
- Build strong working relationships across the department and with key external staff; and take time to learn the needs of internal staff and external constituents
- Gather and document business and functional requirements
- Lead department trainings and develop training materials
- Liaison between Resolutions and IT/technical vendors
- Manage projects of increased impact, risk, and complexity with some oversight
- Lead collaborative workgroups with department stakeholders; contribute to cross-departmental workgroups
- Drive process and system enhancements for continuous improvement; monitor and prioritize user adoption
- Create process documentation
- Create and manage reports
- Challenge status quo and use creativity to generate new ideas
- Deliver work product in a conscientious, structured, and organized manner for easier mass consumption
- Anticipate stakeholder reactions and concerns, address potential concerns proactively
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Certification in either Business Analysis or Project Management preferred
- 2+ years of business analysis experience and/or 2+ years of IT project experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, & listening), customer service orientation, and demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to provide creative solutions to solve issues
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize, manage multiple projects and responsibilities, and meet deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Trained in change management
- Must have ability to adapt in an atmosphere of constant change
