Primary Responsibility:
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Exposure to Spark/Scala programming
- Good exposure to all the aspects of Big Data Technology stack
- Working knowledge in Airflow (Scheduling tool)
- Knowledge in Data Warehousing strategies, ETL transformations / processes & Data Modelling techniques
- Knowledge in normal Source Code process and should be able to work with the parallel scrum teams with a single code base (Code base Ex: Github, Jenkins, Rally, etc)
- Proficient in Shell Scripting & Hive Queries
- Ability to adopt the agile principles and work in a agile team
- Ability to hold accountable for the deliverables and be able to meet the commitment
- Ability to collaborate with all the other team members, POs, SMs and BAs in the team and raise the risk, blockers & impediments associated to the deliverables
- Ability to drive the Prod deployments with other team members in the team
- Ability to communicate well with the PO and all stakeholders in the scrum team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kaftka streaming knowledge
- Python programming skills
