Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to capture and document information
  • Work with operational experts to identify problem areas in existing tool/application
  • Turn Business Requirements into Data Requirements
  • Partner with developers to ensure Data Requirements meets business needs
  • Lead and perform UAT
  • Analyze and trouble shoot issues
  • Establish standards and best practices for loading-updating fee sources and fee schedules
  • Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members
  • Resolve report, data, tool/application issues submitted by business partners, end-users, and Apps team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Computer Science or related field; OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis with a solid understanding of Physician or Facility Pricing
  • 3+ years of experience in translating business requirements into Data Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with maintaining Professional or Hospital pricing
  • 2+ years of experience in unit and system testing
  • Intermediate level experience in Excel
  • Entry to Intermediate level experience in SQL
  • Experience developing within an agile (i.e. Scrum) framework
  • Experience leading projects from initiation through deployment, coordinating efforts of cross-functional teams to satisfy business requirements and ensure the highest quality is delivered
  • Business-side experience with IT partners, or IT-side experience with Business partners

Preferred Qualifcation:

  • Solid communication and collaboration skills when working with stakeholders to drive change

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
