Position title: Analyst (Power BI)

Department: Finance

Location: Gurgaon

Reports to: Assistant Manager

Overview about Role

The Analyst is responsible for creating business metrics, program and project reports, weekly metrices,

project dashboards and maintain email communication with the on-shore stake holders

Qualification & Attributes Experience

  • Solid Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with VBAs and Macros, Power query, power

pivot tables and pivot reporting highly desirable

  • Comprehensive knowledge of data design, data modeling, data management, and

data visualization in Power BI

  • Willingness to stretch and work on weekends or late shifts/early shifts to meet client

Education Graduation (Any Discipline deadlines )

Personal attributes

  • Solid working knowledge about Excel, Power BI, VBAs and Macros, Power Query,

Power Pivot table and pivot reporting

  • Excellent time management and written and oral communication skills
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership for success of a given task
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment and ability to work

cooperatively with other teams

  • High levels of personal energy and appetite for work and success

Role and Responsibilities

  • 2+ year of experience in data designing, data modeling, data management, data visualization and

creating reports and dashboards in Power BI

  • Create macros (VBA) for reduce the manual effort or avoiding the repetitive work
  • Extracting data from Time keeping and Review tools, and creating project reports
  • Create automated templates in excel with use of advance excel formulas (Power Query, Power Pivot

Table, Pivot Table , Index Match, Vlookup, Hlookup)

  • Create custom dashboard in Power BI and Excel
  • Creating MIS report for top management
  • Ability to work remotely and within a team, build relationships with other business functions (legal,

finance, HR, Admin , Procurement etc.).

  • Prepare standard and adhoc report as required by stakeholders.
  • Using various types of functions and formulas to edit and modify the huge datasets
  • Work independently to gather, formulate and define requirements to solve moderately complex reporting

problem

  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to work as a team and build effective relationships, both within the team and with other

stakeholders

  • Proven ability to deliver on tight deadlines, and to prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail while also being able to see the bigger picture
