Job Summary
- The analyst will work closely with USG eCampus internal teams and stakeholders to understand their analytical needs, evaluate key performance metrics, and analyze trends. Perform ad hoc analyses to discover actionable information in support of strategic decision making.
- Synchronize and develop complex data analysis and presentation of key metrics related to benchmarks which support program integrity and student success and outcomes in multi-institutional programs.
- Leverage enterprise business intelligence tools and platforms to develop informative dashboards and reports.
- Maintain accuracy and quality of data extracts.
- The ideal candidate will possess superior technical ability as well as effective communication and relationship management skills.
- Along with data analysis activities, Engagement and Analytics positions may include student engagement activities, coordination of textbooks and lab kits, proctored testing support, survey activities across the collaborative programs, other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Project Support – 50
Direct support to Engagement & Analytics, USG eCampus teams, affiliate university and college partners, the USG, and other stakeholders in taking raw data and interpreting it to form meaningful conclusions and develop insights based on analysis.
Unit operations – 20
Duties consist of supporting program factbooks and report generation to include data analysis and display. Support of testing services and proctored exams. Critique platform tool use, such as a CRM, and develop & implement improvement processes.
Student Engagement – 20
Responsibilities include student engagement and outreach in support of program and student success.
Other – 10
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning with 2 years or more of work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience performing analytic functions in education, marketing, ecommerce, financial or related industry.
- Strong ability to articulate insightful and relevant questions and develop appropriate approaches to answering these questions.
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting findings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years experience in higher education
- Master’s degree
- Expertise leveraging SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau to manipulate, analyze and present data.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, R/ Python queries to build reports and conduct advanced quantitative analysis.
- Experience leveraging enterprise reporting tools to develop dashboards and reports.
- Experience working with one or more SIS, HR, CRM (Salesforce), Financial, ERP and Learning Management systems data.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and experience working with large data sets.
Proposed Salary
$58,000.00 (annually)
