    Roles and Responsibilities

    Service now Business Analyst

    The primary role of the Business Analyst is to work closely with Customers and the wider ServiceNow Team to understand and translate their business requirements, propose solutions to business problems and support the deployment of the chosen solution in the form of story/scrum management, sprint reviews, testing and operational readiness. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications

    Your key responsibilities

    • Develops a solid understanding of customer requirements, applies industry best practices and knowledge of ServiceNow to design an optimal solution that supports the business process that meets functional requirements.

    • Interface with the customer representatives to collect, interpret and document to be client processes.

    • Cooperates with architects and developers to assure designed solution architecture quality and functional requirements realized .

    • Critical analysis of customer requirements and process in order to define functional and non-functional requirement specifications using adopted best practices (uses cases).

    • Develops accurate and clear user stories with acceptance criteria.

    • Supports teams with Sprint Reviews, including overall process flows and requirements playback

    • Supports teams with implementation assurance, including end to end process testing, UAT defect feedback and operational readiness.

    • Supports the Project Manager with management of stories throughout implementation, including clearing blocked story actions and dependencies.

    • Demonstration of out of the box features and functions, including end to end workflows

    • Mentoring and training more junior members of the team

    • Producing documentation and training material for the implemented solutions; training the client. To qualify for the role, you must have

    • Good knowledge of ServiceNow (ServiceNow Fundamentals) and able to demonstrate features and functions

    • ITIL v3 or v4

    • Ability to act as a bridge between the client and the developers, translate the requirement into technical language for the developers.

    • Strong engagement, communication and facilitation skills.

    • Good analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply applications knowledge to identify appropriate solutions.

    Desired Candidate Profile

    • 2-4 years of experience in similar roles with proven customer or internal project experience
    • Able to work as part of a team or individually to project timelines, you will need to be pro-active, creative and able to research solutions and make recommendations, willing to learn and take on new challenges.

    Certifications required:

    ServiceNow Certified Administrator

    Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist

    ITIL Foundation

    Additional specialist ServiceNow certifications or experience such as GRC, SecOps, HR, CSM, FSM, CMDB, ITOM, Service Portal, SAM, Discovery, PPM, would be an advantage.

    Some ServiceNow development and scripting skills such as JavaScript, HTML and XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, AngularJS would be advantageous

    Experience working in a Demand Management tool, such as ServiceNow or Jira

    Great presentation skills.

    Client management experience (Stakeholder management)

    Experience in Performing UML Design, MS Visio, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and Process flow diagram
