IAM Analyst
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst is responsible for support, gathering technical requirements, development, and evolution of the company’s IAM services. IAM services include authentication/authorization, access requests, access provisioning, access certification, and the design of role and entitlement models. This role works with business and IT groups to plan authentication and authorization.
IAM Analyst Responsibilities
Provide identity and access management support by creating accounts, roles and groups, assigning permissions, removing access, verifying approval and documenting activities.
Provide troubleshooting and automation support to support identity and access management.
Manage support incidents including troubleshooting access issues and document resolutions.
Collaborate with other support teams.
Provide identify and access management user training services and build federation services.
Create audit reports.
IAM Analyst Qualifications
Identity and Access Management Analyst would have a Bachelor’s degree in Security Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field and one year of experience in provisioning user access with two or more core network operating systems, applications, or security software used by the company such as Active Directory, Unix/Linux, AWS, Oracle, SQL, O365, SailPoint, and Okta or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with an identity management tool, such as Sailpoint, Okta.
Understanding of approval matrices.
Ability to understand security policies and standards and how they apply to identity and access management (IAM).
Experience using and updating a knowledge base system.
Familiarity with managing identities and roles within LDAP, such as Active Directory, Okta.
Fundamental understanding of federation with Active Directory.
Familiarity with database identity and access management, including accounts, roles, and permissions. Such as Oracle, SQL, Redshift.
Experience managing user access with operating systems, such as Window, Linux, Unix, EC2.
Understanding of application-level security models, including identities, roles, permissions.
Demonstrated communication skills.
Organized and can prioritize work with little supervision.
Work Environment:
Work primarily performed in office environment.
May be required to work overtime.
May be required to work outside of normal hours.
Compensation: Up to $48/hr. (DOE)
