POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Software Process Analyst to join our newly minted Software Delivery Excellence team. This full-time position is remote within the United States or Canada.
This is an exciting opportunity to support our technology teams as we scale, having far-reaching impact across Development, Product, QA, and Analytics. The successful candidate will have experience working across multiple Scrum teams, and will embody the tenets of joy, flow, focus and empowerment. This individual will report to the Senior Manager, Software Delivery Excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Delivery Excellence team in executing Agile/Scrum SDLC optimization projects.
- Guide stakeholders in defining key problems and proposing process and technology solutions.
- Outline requirements, use cases, UI, and test scenarios in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Understand complex requirements and translate them to process/technology solutions.
- Partner with development teams to build and monitor key SDLC metrics; presenting findings and making recommendations.
- Manage our Jira instance, scoping multiple Scrum & Kanban teams, in workflows, automations, dashboards, security & permissions, integrations, and release management.
- Manage SDLC process documentation and end-user training.
- Evangelizes iterative and continuous process improvement so that process change is sticky and has buy-in at all levels.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst (or equivalent)
- 2+ years experience administering JIRA or similar software applications.
- Experience working with agile, scrum, kanban, and hybrid methodologies.
- Strong systems-thinking with demonstrated ability to translate and execute ideas into technical/process solutions.
- Persuasive, empathetic and thoughtful approach to presenting metrics and ideas.
- Embodies design thinking, taking part in cross-functional retrospectives, workshops and ideation sessions with a focus on outcomes over outputs.
- SME in SDLC metrics; demonstrated experience in building and presenting digestible data to stakeholders to help identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
