What you’ll be doing…
This role is for a subject matter expert in product design, reference data and overall wireless pricing solutions. The candidate in this role is responsible for:
- Demonstrating a keen understanding of all the nuances of pricing design including network implications, frontend experience, pricing domain, billing and reference data management.
- Building designs and solutions that account for all aspects of inclusion, exclusion and product management functions.
- Collaborating closely with marketing teams to understand the business requirements, understand the provisioning, billing and network impacts of the requirements and work back with Revenue assurance.
- Creating the appropriate approach for any changes to the reference data.
- Managing the changes to the pricing systems and will develop and manage the pricing and reference data systems for VCG and VBG wireless systems.
- Serving as a point of contact for the design of large business initiated projects that span multiple applications within CXP and interface with SOE, SOR and SOI platforms.
- Working within a Center of Excellence for Reference data and will be the primary point of contact for all pricing programs and will drive the governance and strategy for the same.
- Leading the cross train and build expertise on all aspects of product design across the team.

What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of pricing design and conditioning including network implications, frontend experience, pricing domain, billing and reference data management.
- Experience in working with pricing conditioning.
- Knowledge of Open Source technologies, WebServices, Middleware, Source Code Management (GIT, Stash) and Cloud Platforms and use this information to set the technical direction for scalability and reduce cost of ownership.
- Knowledge of Data Architecture and Object Oriented Methodologies with development experience as a Technical Architect providing proven solutions.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology management or related discipline.
- Experience in implementing large scale, highly-available applications
- Technology leadership, including solid understanding of architecture, and full stack implementation.
- Experience in implementing large scale, highly-available Java applications using Microservices.
- Experience in No SQL technologies, DevOps tools, SQL and DB2.
- Experience in AWS cloud, EKS and Kubernetes.
- Experience in handling large production applications and experience with performance tuning.
- Good record of professional experience and accomplishment in driving IT transformation.
- Experience in working and interacting with business, Offshore teams and executives. Strong domain knowledge in billing, provisioning and order management.
- Experience in designing, delivering and managing service level agreements and performance metrics.
- Wireless / telecom industry experience with a focus on large scale transformation programs.
- Experience in supporting mission critical 24X7 production systems, lead real-time high stake risk mitigation plan and drive timely decisions.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment.
