Scope and Purpose of Position
The Business Analyst provides operational and technical business solutions identification, summarization, project tracking and reporting for the Call Center. This critical position will work to understand business and operational processes, areas for improvements and/or areas that require new processes. This position assists in defining business requirements, software specifications, applications and designing workflow processes. This position works cross functionally to bring into fruition business improvements that will satisfy client, compliance and audit requirements.
Essential Functions
- Partner with Call Center management to evaluate current and future business needs with regard to automation, technology and improved operational processes.
- Identify client operation program opportunities and risks. Work cross functionally to document and communicate client requirements, risks, and opportunities that are rooted in Operations and other areas, as assigned, and drive timely resolution.
- Assist in identifying points of operation failure and work to mitigate and ultimately eliminate.
- Collect requirements of proposed application systems or business mandates, evaluate and recommend applicable solutions, design a system of data and procedures to meet the requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand and ensure successful realization of client goals and deliverables.
- Act as Project Lead for Compliance and Audit needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination or experience and education
- Three to Five years of related experience
- Experience with Versant Health’s system
