Job Responsibilities
As a Machine Learning Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for:
- Design and Develop machine learning models, algorithms, and libraries.
- Collaborate with data engineers to develop data and model pipelines.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to derive valuable insights.
- Apply machine learning and data analytics/science techniques and design distributed systems.
- Design, Develop, Review and Deploy production-level code.
- Maintain and Improve existing machine learning models.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle (research, design, experimentation, development. deployment, monitoring and maintenance)
- Produce project outcomes and isolate issues.
- Interact with and communicate complex processes and report results to business leaders.
- Research and implement best practices to enhance existing machine learning infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
- 8+ years of total experience with 3+ year of experience developing and training machine learning models in a framework such as TensorFlow, SciKit-Learn, PyTorch, CAFFE, or similar.
- Experience in one or more “general purpose” programming languages such as, Python, R, C/C++
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree or PhD in a Computer Science (CS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or related technical field
- Working with cloud computing services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with large amounts of data in a high throughput environment and distributed computing.
- Experience working with messaging tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ and ZeroMQ
- Knowledge of machine learning evaluation metrics and standard methodologies
