About this Role
We are looking for a part-time Marketing Analyst to support our Marketing Team. As a Marketing Analyst at VIDA, you will get to do more than just monitor metrics. You will define and implement measurement strategies that align with digital marketing in various paid and organic channels and overall business goals. The role will be 100% remote and cover PST working hours. You will be directly reporting to our Head of Marketing and Growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions.
- Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities (including channel attribution), ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
- Analyzes external and internal customer data using database queries (SQL, Access), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Google Analytics), statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.
- Evaluate customers’ online behavior and provide insights and recommendations for further enhancements to the guest experience.
- Analyzes A/B and Multivariate tests, communicates results, and provides recommendations.
- Creates presentations to provide market and consumer insights to marketing and sales departments as well as management.
- Advises other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand, product development) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data.
Your background
- 5+ years experience in marketing or related field
- Possess search engine, web analytics, and business research tools acumen
- Experience in basic SQL and Python
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Deep knowledge of data warehousing, and mining
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc)
- Working knowledge with CRM programs
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize time with minimal supervision
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required
- Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
