Position Summary
SCM Business Analyst is a Subject Matter Expert for SCM Modules who has overall responsibility for Understanding business problems, processes, and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. The roles focus is to be Business-Value-Focused working closely with technical experts to deliver an optimized systems solution.
Main Job Responsibilities
Conducting workshops/training for clients to help analyze and define their business requirements and processes.
Develop an understanding of business strategy and user needs, document specifications, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specifications
Create Blueprint Document based on detailed understanding of the business requirements.
Designing and implementing new methods, procedures, and systems to improve the processing and flow of information that add value to our customers business and our product
Collaborate with Users, Development team, other BAs/Functional Consultants and any involved vendors in the planning, design, new development, and feature enhancements
Active participation in preparing various project documents Solution design, Functional Specifications, Configuration Documents, UAT Test Scripts, Training materials like User Manuals, Training Videos etc.
Coordinate with Technical Team for customization, configuration, and development as per the Blueprint and Solution Design Documents.
Go-Live Support and Enhancements
Complete the project assignments within defined scope, budget and committed timelines.
Provide support to Pre-sales in configuration and demo of the ERP System.
Support in creation of test scenarios for various test environments
Work closely with users during user acceptance testing phase

Helping with management of projects from conception to launch and ensuring overall success of company projects. Be involved at varying levels throughout the project life cycle, from requirement gathering to solution implementations.
Participating in creating and maintaining a road map and strategy for customers; collaborate with other leads, managers, and technical team to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and manage small to large projects in a cross-functional, global environment
Experience implementing and supporting complex ERP solutions
Must have strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn, and be adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
High degree of professionalism and an approach that promotes progress through teamwork in a collaborative environment
Readiness to Travel domestic and international
Ability to effectively communicate
Good written and verbal communication skills
Qualification/Experience
– MBA SCM or Master/Bachelors degree, or relevant career experience.
– Relevant Certification in Business Analytics would be an added advantage.
5+ years of Experience as IT Business Analyst/Sr. ERP Functional Consultant in implementation of different SCM modules: Order Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, MRP, Costing, Material Management, etc
Excellent understanding of Business Processes: Sales and Distribution, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing (process & discrete), Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash & Product Costing.
