Summary:
Position is a part of Virtua Integrated Network

Identifies strategic issues, forms hypothesis, designs and conducts analyses, synthesizes conclusions into recommendations and presentation materials and conducts follow-up studies.

Creates structures and processes which facilitate the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide analytics for Population Health Management, creating and improving models of clinical care to improve care through risk identification, stratification, and targeting.

Directs and contributes to the development of complex, strategic data analysis through integration of data from a variety of internal and external information sources.

Understands and documents business/clinical needs as well as recommends appropriate IS solutions to deliver the needed data. Collaborates with stakeholders to develop and design reports, dashboards and scorecards.

Develops quality assurance measures around member intervention initiatives to ensure execution and gain understanding of shifting populations and other trends.

Keeps abreast of current healthcare trends by attending appropriate meetings and reviewing current literature. Provides market intelligence on a regular basis to operations/product line managers and executives.

Performs defined analyses to assess proper outcome metrics for population health programs/ initiative; builds, tests, and validates selection algorithms.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT architecture and analytics using multiple data sources.

Experience with Claims Data is strongly preferred.

Excellent data analysis skills required.

Clinical data analysis experience is highly recommended.

Possess general knowledge of hospital and physician financial practices and accounting.

Experience with SQL is required.

QlikView or Tableau is preferred.

Python Programming experience is preferred.

Predictive Analytics experience, EPIC (Healthy Planet) strongly preferred.

Experience with Population Health strongly preferred.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Master’s Degree in analytics, mathematics or business preferred.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

Expert level experience in SQL.
