In this role, product analyst will be responsible for managing the core data products which is focused on building next generation capabilities. Product analyst will focus on execution of a global roadmap working with Data engineers, Data scientists and Internal stakeholders to deliver functionality to meet client needs. The role requires analytical, collaborative and technical product skills. In addition, the role is required to have a deep understanding of the Cybersource Data platform, Data schema and internal BI tools to ensure change to the platforms are executed on time and communicated
Essential Functions
- Primary responsibility is to build data products and solutions that deliver substantial value to clients.
- In this role, product analyst will work closely business teams, engineering, Data scientist, architects, global cross-functional counterparts to build, iterate data products including offline data products and Realtime decision making data solutions
- Responsible for writing very clear, thorough, and detailed user stories for features and product sets
- Having a ‘Can do attitude’ and work with technology teams to develop use cases, and prioritize user stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that aligned with product strategy.
- Responsible for conducting User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful business releases.
- Hands on data exploration and analyses of large data sets to enable data driven stories and product features.
Flex Work Arrangement – Hybrid Position – This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
- 3 or more years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
- Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices and should be well versed with agile processes and methodologies.
- The role requires strong interpersonal, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in cross-functional teams to implement and assess the operational impact of changes to processes/procedures.
- Strong ability to multi-task, organize, manage, and implement complex projects whether directly or through supervision.
- Demonstrated expertise/power user in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word) and experience with MS Office Access
- Hands on experience in Business Intelligence tools
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- Experience in working with the financial industry and data system skills is preferred.
