The Business Ops role resides on the Corporate Business Systems team within Corporate IT and directly supports various business groups include Finance, Product, Legal, Compliance and Global Risk. The team is responsible for ensuring that these business functions and projects are planned, managed, executed, and governed in a consistent, transparent, and disciplined manner. The position requires an experienced business management professional with the ability to seamlessly flex between the strategic and the tactical. This role requires driving business operations management, executing workforce planning, gathering key metrics and executive reporting activities. Must have high level of energy and flexibility to get things done and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and often time ambiguous environment. This position interacts with a wide range of stakeholders both within CBS and with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include
- Support day-to-day business management functions to support Corporate Business Systems management and stakeholders
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and other mechanisms to provide visibility on work force management process.
- Build and operationalize resource demand pipeline to better understand upcoming resourcing needs
- Monitor Implement process and system improvements for better workforce plan management and efficient hiring
- Create precise and crisp business management artifacts representing the whole group by working with various stakeholders
- Provide support for internal and external reporting and communications
- Provide oversight and coordination of processes to ensure financial objectives are met, including month end close, and reporting requirements.
- As a change agent, analyze current process standards and metrics to discover opportunities for business process improvements, pilot and then drive on a larger scale
- Possess a data driven and metric-oriented mind set. Suggest comprehensive metrics that can be actionable and promote positive behavioral changes; Baseline, improve and re-measure success.
- Build Pivot Tables/Macros and perform statistical analysis in Excel, Tableau and Power BI report creation based on various data sources
- Identify potential roadblocks/obstacles and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure consistent application of business operations framework and best practices across the entire portfolio
Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Experience in managing technically complex, cross-organizational, multi-stakeholder process improvement initiatives
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. to develop dashboards from multiple source systems such as Jira Align, Clarity, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7-10 years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 years of experience with a PhD.
- 2+ years of experience in business analytics, executive reporting, and data visualization with insightful commentary.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with an attention to detail. In particular, a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels, capable of summarizing and communicating key information and business strategy at an executive level
- Ability to work independently with strong time management with sense of urgency and ability to execute on multiple concurrent deliverables
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically and build data-driven recommendations
- Manage through influence, but without direct management authority. Use capabilities to influence customers and stakeholders, and properly manage divergent expectations
- Fast learner, willing to dive in a learn new skills to support the Business Operations team
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred

Physical Requirements
- This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.

- This position requires the incumbent to travel <5% of the time
