Visible Alpha enhances the investment research process by extracting meaningful analyst models, and research reports through valuable partnerships with the world’s premier investment research organizations. Our deep consensus data provides financial recommendations on companies and industries at a level of granularity and timeliness and that has never before been possible.
- You will be working with Principal Data Scientist as an individual contributor within research & innovation group.
- You should be proficient in Python (data manipulation, scientific computing, applied statistics, machine learning, and data visualization), in My SQL and No SQL.
- You will work with wide variety of Visible Alpha’s commercial as well as operational data-sets on both internal and client-facing projects. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization, build data analytics tool for the organization, communicate findings to diverse audiences.
- You will work on all parts of data science workflow; exploratory analysis of new data-sets, create/monitor KPIs and build dashboards for the organization, build predictive models and work with engineers for deployment.
- Prior experience working in a data science/analytic s/engineering team, working on an end-to-end data project with deliverables.
- Communication skills, experience presenting findings to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarly with financial data-sets, equities market, fundamental research.
- Advanced degree in a computational field and/or independent research experience as a data scientist preferred.
