RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key role in administering our Identity & Access Management program and implementing leased privileged role-based access control for its operational systems.
  • Manage support requests from end-users
  • Resolve tier 1 requests, such as user password resets and application access problems
  • Facilitate routing of user access requests for authorization
  • Investigate optimal solutions to commonly encountered issues and drafts processes and related knowledge articles to address them
  • Actively monitor the environment for detected configuration changes. Attempt to reconcile detected changes to approved change requests. Escalates unreconciled changes for remediation
  • Review and respond to security alerts. Determines which alerts are false-positive or associated with the non-malicious activity to mark for resolution. Escalates other alerts for remediation.
  • Follow procedures to maintain asset inventory within the Change Management Database (CMDB). Facilitates assessment of new assets for classification. Ensures asset statuses are maintained in the CMDB through the implementation of provided asset management, change management, and sanitization procedures.
  • Actively monitor the environment for creating and modifying user accounts and changes to permissions and roles associated with user accounts. Attempts to reconcile these account events to approved access authorizations. Escalates unreconciled account events for remediation.
  • Maintain knowledge of standards and related policies in security event monitoring, access management, change management, and vulnerability assessments. Create and maintain evidence of compliance with these standards and related policies.
  • Participate in periodic reviews and activities associated with access management and vulnerability assessments.

    • This opportunity is a contract-to-hire (6 months) position in the Tucker area. Excellent work environment and culture.     REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Junior Security Analyst
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
  • Provisioning/disabling user access
  • Troubleshooting reported access issues
  • Multi-factor authentication enrollment
  • Reviewing/validating access permissions and cross-checking access authorizations
  • Supporting end users and managing service requests
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of various security events across multiple operating systems and appliance platforms
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to technological, processes, and compliance standards changes. Strong customer service attitude. Strong analytical skills. Ability to document resolutions to customer issues and security alerts. Must exercise sound judgment and discretion when investigating support requests, security alerts, and detected changes within the environment to determine which issues may be resolved and which issues must be escalated.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, etc.)

    • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Familiarity with operating within a regulatory compliance environment
  • Participating in compliance audits
  • Scripting ability with Powershell and Python
  • Experience with ITIL and documenting work in an ITSM solution (ServiceNow, Ivanti, BMC Remedy, etc.)
