Our Data Analysts play an important role in providing us with medical expertise to help us build AI health solutions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for detail and visual-oriented individuals to join us in our goal to improve the quality of care for patients. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for quality-reviewing and annotating clinical data. You will work with a growing multidisciplinary team of talented clinical researchers, data scientists, engineers, and statisticians, that work at the intersection of clinical knowledge and advanced data science. The ideal candidate for this role is a visual learner, has great attention to detail, and is comfortable conducting repetitive work with medical data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will :
- Utilizing your clinical experience, use our editing interface to annotate and QA existing labels of medical data with appropriate, pre-defined tags that you will learn during your training and onboarding process.
- Annotating the clinical data from different databases based on the Linguistic Role, Clinical classification, Structure Role in Medical Note and/or Extraction of clinical attributes with normalization.
- Responsible for data de-duplication (matching and merging data), data cleansing (matching, linking, updating records),
- Utilizing multiple sources of data including tools to analyze and resolve problems.
- Develops work plans to ensure analysis is completed accurately and on time.
- Approach work requirements in a methodical and conscientious manner.
- Prioritizing tasks and follow them through to completion in a timely manner, with minimal supervision.
- Managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health informatics, nursing, biology or related field.
- Nurse Practitioner, Health IT professional, or Clinical Research Associate with a minimum of 2 years of clinical annotation experience.
- Experience handling protected health information.
- Detail-oriented and attentive, a self-starter and analytical thinker.
- Fluency in clinical parameters, medical terminology, and ontologies such as ICD-10-CM, SNOMED-CT, CPT, RxNorm and LOINC.
• Specific knowledge of Microsoft Excel including: o Common functions across worksheets and workbooks. o Formula based conditional formatting. o Pivot Tables/Pivot Charts. • Experience with SharePoint and linking workbooks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Meticulous and detail oriented with a strong clinical background.
- Familiarity with formatted clinical notes.
- Knowledge of oncological diagnoses and treatments.
- Exceptional execution skills; organizational, and coordination experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interest in healthcare and eager to be a “learn-it-all.”
