Summary:
The Sr. Business Analyst will be focused on improving supply chain by preparing analytics tools for planning, sourcing, logistics, quality, warehousing, and facilities teams. This analyst is a key part of the analytics team supporting Vivint’s supply chain organization and has analytics ownership over inventory optimization, resource utilization, and savings validation. The ideal candidate thinks like a consultant and strategic leader, plus has 5+ years’ experience working with SQL and some Tableau.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and support innovative, meaningful, and useful visualizations with optimal performance for end users
- Adhere to and promote analytic best practices for consistent performance, accuracy, quality, and reliability
- Partner with Operations Quality, IT, and Analytics directors to measure success on IT initiatives
- Partner with Supply Chain Sr Vice President in strategic initiatives related to product marketing
- Own the analytics support and reporting (Snowflake SQL and Tableau) for the product marketing
- Analyze large operational data and provide data-driven recommendations
Required Skills:
- Communicate clearly and concisely complex data as simple stories that drive action and define strategies
- Must be able to prioritize, problem solve, and take initiative
- Advanced SQL, Database, and data visualization skills
Required Education/Experience:
- 5+ years experience with SQL
- 5+ years of analytics, consulting, or operations experience
- Experience delivering $1m+ business improvements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Successful track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Change is constant at Vivint

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
