This candidate is responsible for performing the activities/responsibilities under Sales management Support in India supporting all the Renewals GEOs sales and sales operations stakeholders. An ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end Core Renewals Quoting tasks/deliverables/projects. This candidate would report to the Supervisor/Team Lead, Sales Management Support and perform the outlined responsibilities designated under the process he/she would support.
The team is looking for detail oriented and analytically driven individuals. This role will expand to strategically working within the SMS Org. and the Renewals Sales Operations teams across GEOs. This is a multi-functional Core Renewals quoting role. The ideal candidate may demonstrate experience/knowledge in CRM applications viz. SFDC, Oracle EBS, etc. This includes, but not limited to, processing orders, generating quotes, partner management, territory management and data remediation efforts.
Brief Description of the team :
Renewals Operations is part of IB Services team. The primary objective of this team is to support Sales; by providing accurate information on the existing Install Base of the Enterprise Customers of VMware in the form a quote. We would be responsible for providing accurate renewals quotes to sales and partners. This is a very crucial step in the Deal cycle for the Sales team – as this has a lot of financial implications.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Extracting customer information from the Database (various sources), reviewing the Agreement details, Add the existing install base details on the quote and price it as per the details provided. Contact the upstream and downstream teams to gather information wherever required to take the Deal forward.
Work with Sales, Partners, Revenue and Audits team: effective communication skills is very important to be successful in this role – both written and verbal; as we expect the analyst to reach out to stakeholder over the call as well as through e-mails / instant messengers to resolve the issues
Learnability – for in-depth understanding of the E2E business processes and recommending process enhancements
Working on cases and resolve queries based on various business process workflows and logical thinking Process decision making skills – as the process is analytical a lot of decision making is involved; the candidate is expected to be able to take judgement calls on the process
Support and successfully contribute to adhoc projects and reporting requisites
Processing requests as per agreed Turn Around Time; as this is a global process this might mean that the employee might have to attend calls at odd hours.
Prioritization skills is a must
Collaborate with inter-connected functional teams and global stakeholders to support projects/deliverables.
Continually work on process improvements and standardization in conjunction with the functional leaders
Ensure accuracy in processing requests Ensure productivity targets are met
Collaborate and work with IB Services team members & leads across centers Support qtr end and month time timeliness on quarter end impacting activities and help in managing the surge in volumes pre/post quarter end Work on projects and programs assigned to as part of additional responsibilities
Requisite Skills & Experience :
3-4+ years of industry experience in Sales Operations/IB services/Quoting; preferred Experience in Order Management / Fulfillment / Bookings , Quoting, Quote to Cash, Partner Operations or Marketing Operations will be considered as well Strong MS office skills; ability to learn systems quickly with little or no guidance; capability to drive and implement excel based solutions
Preferred experience in managing enterprise-wide project(s) with industry-wide accepted CRMs/ERPs (SFDC, Oracle EBS, etc.)
Knowledge of SaaS is a definite advantage Basic hands-on experience/knowledge on SAP Webi (UI) or equivalent Data Analysis tool; is preferred
Capable of understanding business requirements, business processes and systems analysis, business/technical liaising and workflow Good verbal and written communication skills; organizational abilities and proven attention to detail
Passion for competition and the ability to maintain personable working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Ability to initiate process improvement plans and drive for change Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-departmental teams Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
A self-starter, able to manage multiple tasks at once and the ability to work with minimal direction Must be highly motivated and flexible to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Flexible to working in shifts, extended working hours during fiscal quarter-ends and weekends; incase of a business need.
