The WW Revenue Lifecycle operations team is part of the WW Sales Strategy and Acceleration team. This team enables Sales & WW Sales Strategy & Acceleration Ops teams to deliver on transformative outcomes by supporting them through best-in-class operational execution.
You will be the trusted business analyst lead for Sales and Operations and liaise with various teams like Order Management, IT, Deal Management, Customer Support, Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics Team to solution operational challenges and drive friction less execution and experiences regarding the SaaS Renewals pipeline.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
- Within 30 days of employment familiarize with E2E opportunity management processes and integrations with quoting and bookings processes and related data flows. Establish relationships with your stakeholders to get outside-in perspectives on challenges that need attention and priority.
- Within 90 days of employment work closely with Deal management, quoting team and Renewals Sales teams to identify processes, practices and governance that needs to be established to drive scale across E2E opportunity management, quoting and deal progressions across the Subscription Renewal business.
- Within 180 days gain hands on experiences from working on complex SaaS processes you will be able to re-design and simplify operational execution capabilities based on data insights. Rationalize the inputs from cross functional teams and shape the processes, data flows and business practices to deliver scale and ease of doing business.
- Within 12 months become the trusted advisors to the operational teams on long term and short-term requirements by strategically evaluating and solutioning process capability and data gaps. Be able to influence multiple stakeholders and drive transformational changes in a highly consensus driven culture.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Understand the intricate details of the end-to-end SaaS renewals processes with their data dependencies across opportunity management, quoting and bookings.
- Working with key business partners and IT teams to deliver solutions to support VMware’s growing business with optimized policies, processes & technology
- Identify pain points experienced with current fragmented data, process, and tools. Create a roadmap for process optimization and prioritize incremental improvements to deliver scale and stability.
- Drive policy governance on quote related processes and execution to accomplish meaningful business impacts and outcomes
- Efficient and Effective in rationalizing change requests, BRD development and prioritization of requirements
- Develop and measure standard metrics to ensure process effectiveness and efficiency are resulting in reduced cycle time, improved accuracy and frictionless experiences for our stakeholders and customers.
- Able to translate business issues, pain points into business requirements that can be easily understood, developed, and delivered
- Empower operational teams by leveraging data to support recommendation on improving process capabilities and measure success based on data driven results
What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
This role will report into the Director – WW SaaS Renewals
The Renewals sales operations team is made of up seven senior managers and directors responsible for supporting the renewals sales teams. We design and execute large scale strategic programs on SaaS transformation in regards to renewals.
The team works on a forward together approach and liaises with senior leadership team and the people leaders within the organisation to drive consistent and scalable framework and governance to enable business operations teams to deliver best in class services.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years in process analysis, data/business analysis, or systems delivery
- Understanding of sales methodologies and sales funnel management
- Experience with a variety of enterprise tools including Salesforce and industry-leading BI tools (Tableau, Tableau CRM, Power BI, or similar)
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine solutions
- Experience working in virtual environments and flexible to some non-standard hours
- Skilled in communicating complex ideas and plans verbally and through documentation
- Handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to drive results and ensure process elegance, transparency, quality, repeatability, and scalability
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, engineering, or relevant degree
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of SaaS business processes
- Enterprise software company experience
