Job Detail:
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets in order to help inform business decisions. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze large datasets using various analytical tools and techniques
- Identify trends and patterns within the data to help inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems
- Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain data quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of data
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- 0-4 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Proficient in SQL, Python, R or other programming languages
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
- Experience working with large datasets in a cloud-based environment such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica or similar tools
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment
- May be required to work some evenings and weekends as needed
Salary:
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
