Team and Position Summary:
The candidate will be part of the Business Intelligence team based out of IDC Gurgaon.
The Shared Services Site provides a one stop shop for all mission critical services at high quality and a low cost. The team manages a range of responsibilities, from solving complex problems for all our stakeholders across the board by offering world-class services such as Source to Contract, Procure To Pay for Goods not for Resale, Business Intelligence & Robotic Process Automation, Networking, and to Pre & Post Payment Audits.
Being part of the Business Intelligence team as a Software Engineer II, the candidate will be responsible for working with different business groups to understand opportunity areas and help by contributing in the space of BI and automation.
With their hard work the candidate will be able to make an impact on business by helping them automate their processes and take strategic decisions.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Understand Business processes/Problems and Propose Solutions.
2. Develop Dashboards and other Visualization/automation projects.
3. Setup ETL workflows to connect to enterprise systems and extract data.
4. Develop automation using Python.
5. Work on Database technologies, and own creation and management of different database objects (Tables, Queries, Stored Procedures etc.)
6. Influence others including those more senior on best practices
7. Good understanding of business environment, good communication skill and ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment
Position Requirements:
Minimum qualifications:
1. Min 2-4 years of work experience.
2. Graduate in Engineering / IT / BCA / MCA / Other discipline
3. Skills Required : Python, Tableau or PowerBI (Open to explore any new visualization technology), SQL Server, ETL (Alteryx or SSIS or Tableau Prep or Azure Data factory), Basic SAP understanding
Additional Qualifications:
- .Net Programming, HTML, Javascript
- SAP understanding
Shift : Should be open to work in the 2-10 PM Shift.
