Your Opportunity To fulfill the charter of MINT, there is need for top notch talent in the analytics space. You would be working on challenging problems and will require building solutions at Walmart scale. Your Responsibility As a Staff Data Analyst for Walmart Global Tech, youll be required to shape and deliver on the MINT analytics charter. 1.Work with product, technology and business teams to drive complex data and trend analyses to root cause issues and propose ways to improve platform. 2.Responsible for defining, developing and communicating key metrics and business trends to partner and management teams 3.Model data in order to create reporting and dashboards for business process management and data mining. 4.Design and conduct AB and multi-variate tests by developing test plans, defining success metrics, analyzing and transforming data into actionable insights. 5.Pull data required to conduct business analysis, build reports, dashboards and metrics to monitor the performance. 6.Work with the stakeholders to take data driven decisions. Our Ideal Candidate You will be a self-starter who is passionate about discovering and solving complicated problems, learning complex systems, working with numbers, and organizing and communicating data and reports. You are a technically strong and high performing individual with excellent communication skills, proven analytical skills and strong customer focus. You stay updated with latest research and technology ideas, and have a passion to utilize innovative ways to solve problems. Your Qualifications Bachelors in Computer Science Statistics with 10 years of relevant experience OR Masters with 8 years of relevant experienceOR PhD in Computer Science with 5years of relevant experience. Your Core Skills Strong understanding of statistics and advanced analytics with applied experience on analysing large data sets. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Sound knowledge of managing data for experiments sampling, labelling, EDA, etc. Knowledge of experimental design and AB testing Strong knowledge of Python, SQL and Hive queries Data visualization and reporting using Tableau and d3.js Exposure in mentoring senior data analysts on approach and results.
