What you’ll do…
The Senior Manager II, Business Analysis & Insights-Health & Wellness Market Strategy researches and develops algorithms that power areas like market and site selection, healthcare demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, asset investment, etc. In this exciting opportunity you will collaborate with business teams, product managers, corporate strategists, health & wellness operators, and business analysts to build a single source of truth for market and site selection and optimization across the entire Health & Wellness Real Estate portfolio. We leverage various machine learning and optimization techniques such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, causal inference, Bayesian inference, and other statistical and machine learning models. Our work is innovative and is always encouraged to be published in top tier conferences and journals. The team is based in Bentonville, Arkansas and the role allows for either fully remote or Bentonville-based work and reports to the Director of Health & Wellness Market Strategy.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if…
- Masters degree or PhD in highly quantitative discipline: applied mathematics, statistics, economics, data science, engineering, GIS with 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- 3-5 years of developing geospatial analytics models used in the market and site selection of real estate assets
- Hands-on experience with building time-series forecasting models that runs at scale
- 3-5 years of researching and developing predictive analytics, machine learning, and optimization modeling used in the Healthcare industry (clinical/health systems/pharmacy/payor), especially the Value Based Care (VBC) space, including intimate understanding of healthcare variables (medical claims, CPT codes, payor types, etc.)
- Experience leading long-term, complex model development involving many stakeholders and third-party engineering teams, delivering against strict budgets and timelines
- Strong communication skill to talk about technical topics with deeply technical to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in using best practices in debugging, testing, and validation of production-ready data science solutions.
- Strong software development skills in python
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional leaders
- You’re experienced with operational research (OR), modeling, statistics, optimization, statistical modeling, neural network, and natural language processing
- You have experience in building large-scale machine-learning models and simulation, scenario & what if modeling
- You have experience with cloud environment including Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
- You’re proficient using database technologies and distributed datastores (e.g. SQL, NoSQL)
- You have strong experience in Mathematics and/or Stats.
- You connect the how and why, using your knowledge of data science theories and methodologies to derive the best approach that is fit-for-purpose
- Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, and integration testing
You’ll make an impact by…
- Creating geospatial analytical models used in market and site selection for Health & Wellness real estate assets (health centers, pharmacies, vision centers, and supply chain assets)
- Leading the creation of multi-variable regression and optimization models to predict asset performance
- Identify and analyze key success indicators to recommend areas for Health & Wellness asset investment including new locations and markets, optimization of existing assets, and closures.
